Graduate training

After consultation with investment banking graduate employers, we recognised that one potential hurdle in hiring graduates is the need for initial training. On-the-job training is resource intensive, whilst formal training can be expensive and has the new graduates out of the office for a significant length of time.

Smith Howard offers initial training for all the areas that it recruits into. The initial training is condensed into an intensive training course, minimising time out of the office, but giving the graduates enough knowledge to hit the ground running.

Most importantly, all training is designed by former bankers to ensure that it is relevant, accurate and up to date for current market practices. The initial graduate training can be used in conjunction with any of Smith Howard's other services, the GRCH, or as a standalone service.
